About  Leuzzi Fumar Hand Made Cigars
I can definitely say this is not a game for the weak or impatient. If you want to get rich overnight, this is definitely not the business to be in.

That being said, the cigar business is a lot of  fun. Yes, you'll have to keep the books, file reports, and do a lot of work in general. But, you'll also have an opportunity to meet a lot of great people along the way.

If you are the owner or manager of a hand made cigar factory and seek assistance marketing your products, contact us. If you have no marketing plan, no marketing budget, and no idea where to start, but you have a product line, contact us. If you have a product but no labels or packaging, we can help.

If you just want to send samples and literature or other information about your cigars for possible inclusion in a marketing plan or Leuzzi Fumar catalog offering, use the information on our contact page. Please include your contact information and SRP/price points for our perusal.

Leuzzi Fumar first label designs - lighter colors designated milder blends, darker cigar labels were reserved for the stronger blends.
Leuzzi Fumar started as a family cigar business in 2003 with the sole purpose of crafting a cigar that would be a salute to the family's first immigrant to the United States from Italy, Michael J Leuzzi. Michael served proudly in the United States Armed Services and was a very proud member of the American Legion. And, he loved his family, cigars, wine and singing. You can hear rare 1960's recordings of Grandpa Leuzzi here.

His brother Anthony followed some 20 or so years later. Word of the reunion of two brothers spread, and the Miami Herald was there to take this photograph, which was our inspiration for the labels we use to designate the Leuzzi Fumar line of hand made cigars.

Shown above are the first Leuzzi Fumar label designs from 2004 - lighter colors designated milder blends, darker cigar labels were reserved for the stronger blends.

There was a learning curve involved in the process of conception and ultimate manufacture of a new cigar blend that would have to be good enough to be worthy of the family name. And, it would have to be able to compete with a multitude of long established brands. In other words, we weren't looking for any cigar with our label on it. The cigar would have to earn the label.

Literally hundreds if not thousands of phone calls were made to tobacco suppliers, cigar factory owners, cigar label printers, cigar box manufacturers, cigar industry trade magazine and periodical publishers, trade convention organizers, U.S. government and state government offices. We met hundreds of people from around the world; buyers, sellers, distributors, manufacturers, marketing representatives, ancillary products manufacturers for everything like matches, humidors, cigar cutters, hookahs, air fresheners, and a whole lot more. Here's a picture of the Zippo Lighter car at the 2005 RTDA convention where we met a lot of industry people.

We held public Cigar BoutsTM with celebrity guests like Gerry Cooney, Jake Lamotta and Ken Daneyko and cigar industry icons like Lew Rothman. Check out some of the people we've met so far along the way in the cigar business at our Cigar BoutsTM!

We went through tons of samples, looking for the right tobacco, rollers, factories and management. It made us feel good when a big, well funded organization chose our cigar manufacturing facility after doing much due diligence on cigar factories in many countries.

If for no other reason than the time alone it took to do all of the above, and that's just in a few years, it should be apparent to anyone that a new cigar line cannot be easily launched on a budget of very little, in less than at least 2 years if not 5. Or more. I know people who have spent $300,000 in six months on advertising ALONE! Yes, they made a dent in the marketplace. After six months. And, they have a long, long way to go.

The point is, if you have little money for magazine advertising, we can help, if you have a good, new product and some patience.

If you do have money for an advertising campaign, but no marketing plan,  contact us.

Whatever the dilemma, if it relates to cigar manufacturing, marketing or sales contact us. We'll do our best to help, or steer you to someone who can.
